Toho Lift Station #6 Rehabilitation and Reconfiguration

Prime Contractor of the removal and replacement of onsite structures and site piping at Lift Station #6 located in Kissimmee, Florida. RTD contract work consists of, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Reconfigure yard piping through a new collection structure, new piping, and new manholes. Design includes a structural box to collect wastewater sewer and force mains in a common structure prior to entering the wet well. This work will include bypass pumping, support of existing mains, and driveway replacement.
  • Install three (3) each 4” conduits and galvanized pipe fittings for future electrical and cable. Allow two weeks in schedule for electrical services to be installed and power transferred from above ground to below ground. The on-site generator will be used during the switch over of power.
  • Replacement of discharge connection expansion couplings on all four (4) pump discharge pipes. Replacement of check valves on pumps No. 1, 2, and 3. Replacement of existing riser pipe on pump No. 3 with DI piping from the existing pump to the above ground 90 degree bend.

  • Installation of 16”, 18”, and 24” HDPE bypass piping.
  • Install three (3) new 72” Diameter x 22’- 28’ deep concrete Manholes.
  • HDPE lined Collection Box and Manholes.
  • Rehabilitation of existing wet well piping and valves.
  • Site work, paving, and drainage systems.
  • Removal and replacement of 300 LF of fence.
  • RTD performed a full system bypass.
