Prime Contractor for new 8MGD water treatment plant facility serving Fort Benning. RTD contract work consists of construction of over 3,000CY of reinforced concrete structures including new Rapid Mix/Flocculation Basins, Membrane Feed Wet Well, rehabilitation and modification of (3) existing Sedimentation Basins including installation of sludge collection equipment and plate settlers equipment, 800,000 GAL Raw Water Storage Tank, construction of new complete 22,000SFT Water Treatment Operations and Control Building including (5) Pall Membrane Filtration Systems, office building, laboratory, chemical feed equipment and storage tanks, Powder Activated Carbon Storage Silo and Feed equipment, (3) 150HP Membrane Feed Pumps, switchgear and motor control centers, modifications to 1MG concrete Clearwell, modificationsto 0.5MG concrete Clearwell, Solids Retention Pond and Pump Station, (8) new Sludge Drying Beds, standby power generationsystems, new Finished Water Pump Station including (1) 700HP Vertical Turbine Finished Water Pump and (2) 400HP Vertical Turbine Finished Water Pumps, 5,500LF major yard piping and tie-ins up to 42”, all site work, paving and restoration.
RTD self-performed 65% of all the work including all formwork, concrete work, excavation & backfills, site work, yard piping and valves and vaults, all process and chemical piping, installation of all Process Equipment including pumps, Pall Membrane Skids, plate settlers, sludge collection equipment, mixers etc.
